Hello Lovelies! I am very excited today to write about this product which is the Maybelline New York Fit Me! Foundation in the shade Sun Biege. I recently had a mini Maybelline haul the link to it is here. Ever since the fitme range launched in India I was so excited about it and wanted to get my hands on it especially the foundation because I have heard so many good reviews about it. Another reason was that this foundation minimised the pores and gave a matte finish which could be a saviour for me since I have an oily T zone. So let’s see if the product lives up to its expectations or not!
The packaging is simple with a cap. However I would have preferred a pump to control the quantity of the product I want. Anyways this was not a big problem for me.
The foundation retails for INR 525 but I got it at a discounted price of INR 419 from Amazon
You can purchase it from here
What do I say… this foundation is just perfect for me and Maybelline lives up to its expectations for providing a smooth pore less and matte finish. The product is very light on the skin as if you haven’t applied anything on the face. I have previously tried foundations which are so heavy when you apply on the face but this one is extremely light weight. It is somewhat a liquid to powder finish. The shade I bought that is sun beige has a bit of yellow undertones to it which was just perfect for my skin also after blending it does not leave a white cast as most foundations at this price tag do. It provides a medium coverage and is slightly buildable but not much.It does not have a strong fragrance which I like. Its good for everyday use especially during summers and has already replaced my BB cream which I used to wear daily. It stays put for about 6 hours after which I observed a slight oiliness in my T zone as it is extremely hot here in India but for anyone who lives in a colder weather region I think it would last a bit longer. The product name fit me is just perfect as it does fit your skin tone. The number of shades launched in India are not as many as those available in the US or other countries however I feel they do cover a lot many of the Indian skin tones. All in all for the price point it is launched, the foundation is the best in its category and everyone should at least give it a try.👍
I would give this product a 4.5/5. 0.5 deducted for the absence of a pump otherwise I have no complaints with this one!
